The Inspiration
As talked about in the above video, this project was created because I am constantly looking for projects I can do to learn, while also having a fun time and doing something that can effect my every day life.
The basis of this project was to integrate an Amazon Echo with a Particle Argon to use voice-control for flipping the light switches.

- Particle Argon
- controls motion of servos, reads inputs of the two sensors and is connected to the Wifi and therefore the Amazon Echo
- Servos
- programmed to move the correct amount to flip the light switch, but not too much to damage it
- PCB
- designed on an online software to permanently replace the prototyping breadboard and printed and shipped from a company in China
- Temperature Sensor
- used if user wants fan to turn on or off when the temperature hits a certain level so the temp in the room stays consistent
- Motion Sensor
- used if user wants to turn on the lights and fan when they enter the room and the other way around when they exit
